Dr. Jennifer Alegun, DPM
Podiatrist, foot & ankle surgeon
Dr. Jennifer Alegun is a board-qualified foot and ankle surgeon dedicated to patient-centered care. A New Jersey native, she earned her Bachelor of Arts in Biological Sciences from Rutgers University and her Doctor of Podiatric Medicine from the New York College of Podiatric Medicine.
She completed a three-year residency in reconstructive rearfoot and ankle surgery at Good Samaritan University Hospital on Long Island, NY. Her training covers elective and minimally invasive surgery, sports medicine, trauma, reconstruction, limb salvage, and wound care.
Dr. Alegun believes in listening to her patients, educating them, and making decisions together, with both conservative and surgical options tailored to each person. She is passionate about global health equity and expanding access to care in underserved communities.
Outside of medicine, she enjoys tennis, travel, cooking and exploring new cuisines, and art.
