Bunions
A bunion is a bony bump at the base of the big toe. It forms when the big toe slowly drifts toward the other toes.
Common symptoms
- A bump on the side of the big toe
- Redness, swelling, or soreness at the joint
- Pain in shoes
- The big toe crossing over or under the second toe

See us if the bump is painful, getting bigger, or making it hard to find shoes or walk.

We examine your foot and take X-rays to see how far the joint has shifted.
